UARA-STARS Tri County Bound Friday
April 10, 2009
April
6, 2009 Hendersonville, NC
- Easter eggs will not be the item the drivers will be
seeking on Friday at Tri County Speedway, it will be that
coveted UARA winners trophy.
Jesse
LaFevers took the checker at TCMS on Friday 3-3-09 but it was
R.A. Brown who received the trophy after post race inspection. Will LaFevers and Brown show up on this Friday to take on the
challenge of the Stars with the likes of Jamey Caudill, Kyle
Grissom, Richard Boswell II, Owen Kelly, Matt McCall, Paddy
Rodenbeck, Coleman Pressley and a host of others.
Rumor has it that Austin Dillon will make a return trip
to be with the STARS at Tri County as well.
Andy
Loden who is the defending TCMS Late Model Champion will be
the man to watch as he will be determined to show the STARS
how he came about that Championship.
Loden has set his sights on the 2009 UARA Championship.
He will be a strong contender along with his fellow
STARS drivers. Loden
would like nothing better than to follow up a track
championship with the UARA title.
2008
Rookie of the Year Darrell Wallace, Jr. hopes to upend Loden
as he too has the 2009 Championship on his mind.
Wallace plans on becoming the first UARA rookie of the
year
to
follow it up with the championship.
He is a very determined young man and being at the
front is the only way he wants to go.
Second place 2008 rookie Brandon McReynolds will also
be a force to reckon with for the win in 2009.
Along
with the very qualified veterans of the UARA will be a strong
set of rookies. Jordan
McGregor, John King II and Matthew Godley finished 8th,
9th and 10th respectively at Bristol
showing they are in here to win and will doing everything they
can to accomplish that as early in the season as possible.
Brad Queen, Brennan Poole, Michael Rouse, Dylan Presnell and
Luke Laney will also be aiming for good finishes and their
chance at the 2009 Rookie of the Year title.
The
Street Stock drivers will be there to excite the crowd along
with the Pro Challenge cars.
