Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Poole, Canipe keep Late Model
Stock win streak alive
Hudson,
North Carolina (May 9, 2009) - The competition just keeps improving at Tri County Motor
Speedway as Brennan Poole became the fourth different winner
this season in Late Model Stock competition winning the first
of twin 35-lap features Friday night.
Poole was able to hold off Dexter Canipe, Jr. to win the
first race with Tyler Brown Megan Reitenour and R.A. Brown
completing the top five.
Canipe and Poole switched spots in the second feature as
Canipe won his first late model stock race of the season to
make it five different winners in as many races. Canipe has
won a Limited Late Model event at the speedway.
Reitenour, who is one of 12 drivers participating in the
NASCAR Drive for Diversity program in the United States,
scored her best finish of the year in third. R.A. Brown and
Tyler Brown completed the top five.
Christian Pahud won his third consecutive race in the Limited
Late Model race with Canipe and Bill Cassavaugh completing the
top three.
David
Smith won the Baton Tire Street Stock race with Josh Burchette
and Kevin Eby completing the top three. Carroll McKinney won
the Renegade race with Barney Arnette and Dustin Walker
completing the podium finishes.
All
four regular weekly divisions will return to action next
