Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor
Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

North Carolina (June 26, 2009) - Dexter Canipe, Jr. could get used to this. After winning last
weekend he decided that’s the place to be as he crossed the
finish line first in Friday night’s feature event at Tri
County Motor Speedway.
Canipe held off Tyler Brown to get the NASCAR All-American
Weekly Racing Series win with Anthony Anders third. Megan
Reitenhour continued her consistent season with a strong
fourth-place showing and Kyle Moon completed the top five.
Canipe also won the Limited Late Model feature for his third
win in the division this season. Chris Phipps was second and
Dominick Casola collected his first podium finish of the
season coming home third.
Jordon McGregor won his first Baton Tire Street Stock
division feature of the season with last week’s winner Kevin
Eby third. McGregor became the fifth different winner of the
year in the division.
Dillon Crouch won his third Renegade feature race of the
season. Dustin Walker and Barney Arnette completed the top
three.
Tri County Motor Speedway will feature a special event next
Friday night with the running of the Firecracker 150 for the
Late Model Stock cars. The Limited Late Model, Baton Tire
Street Stocks will also be in action. A 4-cylinder demolition
derby will also be held and the area’s best fireworks
display will also be held following all racing. For more
