Tri-County Motor Speedway

Hudson, North Carolina

Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility, TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving ground for many of today's rising talents.

Lefevers Stops Canipe's Winning Streak

Hudson, North Carolina (August 7, 2009) - The surprise wasn't Jesse Lefevers winning, he has already won this season at Tri-County Speedway, the surprise was that Dexter Canipe, Jr. didn't win. Lefevers was able to hold off Matt Leicht to get the win while Canipe finished third. Chris Lawson and Trista Stevenson completed the top five.

Tyler Church also helped end a Canipe winning streak as he won the Limited Late Model feature ending Canipe's seven-race winning streak in the division. Canipe followed in second with Justin Sorrow and Justin Robertson finishing third and fourth, respectively. Christian Pahud completed the top five.

Kevin Eby won his second consecutive Baton Tire Street Stock feature with Waylon Flynn finishing second. David Smith completed the top three. Taylor Sticklin and Mike Hatton rounded out the top five.

Dillon Crouch won the Renegade feature with Dustin Walker and Mark Sullivan completing the top three. Steven Shore finished fourth with Roy Smith fifth.
