Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility, TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving ground for many of today's rising talents.

Wimbish Makes It Two In a Row

Hudson, North Carolina (April 9, 2010) - Grant Wimbish made it two wins in a row Friday night at Tri County Motor Speedway. Mat Leicht finished second with Jason Romero folling in third. NASCAR K&N Pro Series East regular Ty Dillon finished fourth with Tyler Brown rounding out the top five.

Christian Pahud won the Limited Late Model race with Scott Franklin close behind in second. Waylon Flynn finished third with Jason Cochrane and last week’s winner Tyler Church fifth.

Ricky Dennie won the Truck feature with Dominick Casola second. Jacob Marlowe was third with Jason Crouse and Jason Frnaklin completing the top five.

In the Baton Tire Street Stock feature, Marshall Sutton made it two in a row holding off Kevin Townsend for the win. Josh Burchette was third and Kevin Eby fourth. David Smith complete the top five.

Dillon Crouch won the Renegade feature. Greg Austin was second with Barney Arnette third. Dan Moore and Carroll McKinney completed the top five.

All five divisions will return to action next Friday night, April 9. Admission is only $5. For more information contact TCMS at 828-726-6600.
